Reasons WHY You Should Exercise
I’m on a mission at Bisbee’s Fitness, to vastly improve people’s lives because I am surrounded by family members that have died too young from certain diseases like cancer and obesity, and these health conditions can be vastly reduced if you exercise and eat healthily.
This blog I will discuss the other many benefits of why you should exercise.
You will improve your memory- Besides getting more oxygen and blood to the brain, by exercising, you can also boost your memory and help you learn better. There’s a reason why the Elon Musks and Richard Bransons of the world always have time to exercise.
It works as an antidepressant- Do you have the blues? Super depressed? This goes hand in hand with the benefit from above, but they have done studies where the feel-good chemicals in the brain are boosted after exercise, thus helping you with your depression.
It reduces the risk of metabolic syndrome– Metabolic syndrome is a name of risk factors that raises your risk for heart disease and other problems such as diabetes and stroke. Those risk factors are: A large waistline, A high triglyceride level(the bad cholesterol), a low HDL cholesterol level (the good cholesterol), high blood pressure, and high blood sugar levels(if you are not careful could lead you to diabetes.)
It adds years to your life- Lifting weights can cut your risk of early death by 46%!
It SAVES money! – Yes, even hiring a personal trainer. A Fortune 500 company estimates for each dollar spent on preventative health, including exercise it saves $2.71 in future health care costs.
It manages chronic pain– Even fibromyalgia. Research shows that a moderate exercise program gives both short-term and long-term improvements for people who have chronic pain, even if all the underlying conditions remain. Exercise will help you deal with chronic pain better.
It makes you a great example for your loved ones: I have three kids all under the age of five, two of them are starting to exercise and follow in their daddy’s footsteps because to them they want to be strong like daddy. Also, people are watching you, are you setting a good example or are you setting a bad example? The more people that see you doing good things like exercise, the more people will follow suit and that is a good thing.
Those are some examples why exercise is so beneficial to anyone. If you are interested in personal or online coaching, please email me at email@example.com or get a hold of me through Facebook at Bisbee’s Fitness.
