Miracle Morning
I have just started my Miracle Morning today. If you don’t know what that is, I highly suggest reading Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. Miracle Morning is basically about you get up early in the morning before everyone else, and you do things like write, pray (or meditate) write affirmations and exercise. This should take you an hour. Some people do more than an hour, and that’s what I would like to do down the road.
The reason why I am doing this is that I always thought it was fascinating how people like The Rock (huge Rock fan here! 😉 ) and all the other big name people are more successful than the average person. Why is that? Is it because they had a better life than most people? The answer I think will blow you away. They are average people living amazing lives. They also do things that SUCK like getting up at the crack of dawn, and they are excellent at the basics.
Which leads me to my next point, consistency. I have been a personal trainer for over 12 years now, and I think I finally put my finger on why people lack the results they need. By being consistent. Exercise is the first thing to go if the shit hits the fan, so say if you lost your job or your cat died people throw exercise on to the back burner because it’s easy to do. Most people hate to exercise, so I’m sure if they could find ANY excuse they wouldn’t do it.
That’s actually when you need to exercise the most. I even dread working out some days, but I still do it because I know consistency breeds results. There are so many health benefits to exercise like improved sleep, decrease your risk of certain cancers, controls weight, improves mood, better sex life (right!?) and the list goes on and on.
From what I learned in the exercise world, I am now sharing it with other parts of my life, and this is one of them. I want to write more and be able to spend more time with my kids, but I find during the day there are too many things that grab my attention which is another reason why I want to do this.
Exercising in the morning is also a BIG factor in Miracle Morning.I wonder why 😉 You will see a lot more of my writing in the very near future, I plan on doing a 40-day blog challenge with this being the first blog.
If you are struggling with ANYTHING in your life, make a habit of it. If its nutrition makes a habit of eating slowly, eating only minimally processed carbs after your workouts, etc. Get rid of the bad habits in your life and replace it with the good.
Get after it!
