3 Exercises That Will Get You A Flat Stomach
Before we talk about the exercises that can help you get a toned stomach, I would like to talk to you about nutrition. Quite honestly almost any exercise can help you get the stomach you always wanted, but I find these three exercises have the most success with my clients and myself.
For nutrition, you want to make sure you drink lots of water up to 2 liters per day and another liter coming from fruits and vegetables. With vegetables, you want to ensure it’s the green and leafy kind.
Now on to the exercises. The first exercise is the Turkish Get Up. The abdominals act as a big stabilizer muscle so you should train it as such. Besides working on the core with this exercise, you are working the entire body.
The second exercise is a One Arm Kettlebell Front Squat. By having the weight in one hand, especially with a kettlebell because the weight is outside of the hand, the abdominals are working extra hard not to lose posture.
Finally, the last exercise is the Barbell Roll Out. If you are the type of person where you need to feel the muscle you are working the next day or the day after, this is the exercise for you. Especially if you haven’t performed this movement before. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Here is a workout that you can do.
TGU (Turkish Get Up) 12kg for ladies or 20kg for guys= 1 set x 4 reps/each side
One Arm Kettlebell Front Squat (same weight)= 3 sets x 5 reps
Barbell Roll Out= 3 sets x 5 reps
